Knitting Project Confidential

“Hello, my name is Alicia and I am a knit-oholic.”
…ok, that may not actually be an official addiction, or even a real word, but I certainly am doing my best to stretch my ability to complete a knitting project to the breaking point!
I’ve just bought more yarn today for my ever-growing collection. ..after I already bought several skeins on Sunday for *another* project that I have yet to start

(in my defense I will only state that Michael’s was having a huge yarn sale and so it was practically my solemn duty to buy yarn when it is that good a deal!)

Yeah, I’m not buying that excuse either.
Especially since I already bought some very fancy and expensive yarms last Monday for a cowl I’m making for my sister’s Christmas present.

I indeed have a problem.

But…how could I say no to this gorgeous looking, super-soft multi-coloured yarn just begging to be knitted up into a cozy cowl for winter?

The kicker to all this is that I actually brought up a knitting project with me when I came to visit the family back on Halloween weekend and ended up staying for an extended period. Not only did i not bring *nearly* enough undies and sox with me, but i also shorted myself on  the wool I needed to continue working on my original knitting project (which I shall not post pics of at this time as it is also a Christmas present in the making).

So, the upshot is, I’m going to try my darndest to stop buying more yarn as I already have plenty at home and I will eventually get back there to my ever loving hubster and ever-pissy pussycat.

But I wouldn’t bet on it. 😉
